Seth Winterton

Dr. Seth Winterton is originally from Utah but has lived in California, Texas, Canada, Nevada, and Iowa. He is happily married to his wife, Stephanie, with whom they share four boys. He attended medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT. After moving to a small rural town in Iowa, he practiced full‑spectrum Family Medicine, caring for hospitalized, obstetric, newborn, and emergency department patients, which sharpened his ability to recognize and treat a wide range of conditions.

Dr. Winterton now leads Waves Family Health, a Direct Primary Care practice in Oviedo, FL. He embraces the DPC philosophy of transparent, low‑cost membership fees, unlimited visits, and direct communication with patients via text, email, and phone, allowing him to spend more time on personalized care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys weight lifting, wakeboarding, hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, and serving as a spiritual leader at his local church.
