About

Dr. Sara Whatley, D.O., is a family medicine physician who embraces a whole‑person, patient‑centered approach to health care. As an osteopathic physician she emphasizes the connection of mind, body, and spirit, and believes that preventive care and lifestyle medicine are essential to lasting wellness. Dr. Whatley’s mission is to provide accessible, affordable, and personalized primary care through a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model that removes the barriers of traditional insurance billing and allows her to spend more time listening, educating, and partnering with each patient.

Since beginning her practice in Camarillo, California in 2012, Dr. Whatley has focused on delivering comprehensive care for patients of all ages—from newborns to grandparents. She offers preventive exams, chronic disease management, nutrition and exercise counseling, and a range of in‑office procedures, all under a flat membership fee that promotes transparency and value‑based care. Her DPC philosophy centers on building long‑term relationships, unlimited communication via phone, email, or text, and empowering patients to take an active role in their health.
