Family Medicine

About

Dr. Samantha Jensen began her medical career at age 18 as a medical assistant in her father's solo family practice in rural Ohio. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Wright State University before completing her MD at Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Jensen completed a residency in Family Medicine at East Tennessee State University, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive primary care.

At Jensen Family Health and Wellness, Dr. Jensen embraces the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, emphasizing unhurried visits, transparent pricing, and direct patient‑doctor communication. She believes that removing insurance “red tape” allows her to spend more time listening to patients, tailoring treatment plans, and providing affordable medication options. Her practice focuses on whole‑person care across all ages, integrating services such as obstetrics, menopause and hormonal care, obesity management, and chronic disease management.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Jensen is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and is dedicated to supporting patients through life‑stage transitions, opioid use disorder treatment, and women's health. She values community involvement and strives to create a welcoming, family‑focused environment for every patient.
