He earned his medical degree from Punjab Medical College on a full scholarship and moved to the United States in 2016 to complete residency training. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at Ascension Health Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, IL, and is also board‑certified in Obesity Medicine.
