About
Dr. Rachel K. Langley, DO grew up just outside Washington, DC and pursued a career in medicine after serving a military scholarship. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2011 and completed a family medicine residency at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, where she also served as a flight surgeon. Board‑certified in family medicine, she is additionally certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a NaPro Technology specialist, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP). In 2023 she founded Homestead Direct Primary Care, embracing the Direct Primary Care model to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care without the constraints of insurance.
At Homestead DPC Dr. Langley emphasizes a deep doctor‑patient relationship, offering same‑day or next‑day communication via phone, text, or email, and extended appointment times to address the whole person.
