Michele Gero

Dr. Michele Gero, MD is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician. Dr. Gero attended SUNY Upstate Medical University, in Syracuse, NY, where she graduated in 2001. Following her family medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Health Center in Syracuse, Dr. Gero moved to Wallingford CT to become a partner at ProHealth Physician Group. In 2011, she moved to Florida and began practicing corporate medicine in North Port, FL. Dr. Gero discovered Direct Primary Care in 2018 and realized that delivering primary care in this manner was more in line with her values and the true reason she became a doctor in the first place. She was finally able to start her own practice, Aspire Direct Primary Care in Venice, in October 2019. She is excited to provide comprehensive health care to her patients the way it should be delivered.
