Melissa Ratliff
Family Medicine, Integrative Medicine
About
Dr. Melissa Ratliff is a board‑certified family medicine physician with advanced fellowship training in integrative medicine from the University of Arizona’s Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. She founded Ratliff Integrative Family Medicine to deliver affordable, accessible, and deeply personal care through a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. Her philosophy blends conventional evidence‑based medicine with holistic, whole‑person approaches that address physical, emotional, and spiritual health, emphasizing nutrition, lifestyle, and patient education.
With nearly two decades of experience serving families in Charlotte and the surrounding area, Dr. Ratliff previously led the Novant Blakeney Family Physicians practice for nine years before joining a concierge practice to deepen her focus on preventive care. In 2021 she completed a two‑year fellowship in Integrative Medicine, allowing her to incorporate tools such as nutrition counseling, stress management, and botanicals into her clinical toolbox. The DPC model she created provides unlimited visits, longer appointments, and direct communication via phone, email, or text, fostering strong physician‑patient relationships and eliminating insurance‑related barriers.
