Melissa Greer, D.O. was born and raised in Indiana. She lived and practiced in the Midwest before coming to Chester County, PA to practice family medicine in the fall of 2015. She earned a B.S. in biology and French from Butler University and studied osteopathic medicine at Midwestern University. She completed a family medicine residency at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL. Dr. Greer is board‑certified in family medicine and certified in anthroposophic medicine. Her early practice in south‑central Wisconsin focused on holistic primary care and a slow‑food, slow‑medicine wellness program that incorporated organic gardening. At Carah Medical Arts she integrates these principles into a patient‑centered, Direct Primary Care model that emphasizes preventive, whole‑person care for women and children and active community involvement.
