Dr. Melissa Boylan is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, but has lived and practiced medicine in Columbia, SC for over 15 years. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame, attended Georgetown University School of Medicine, and completed her residency at Palmetto Health/USC Family Medicine Residency Program. She is board‑certified in Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Frustrated with insurance restrictions, Dr. Boylan founded Noreta Family Medicine in July 2020 as a Direct Primary Care practice. She emphasizes transparent pricing, personalized care, and strong patient relationships, aiming to simplify healthcare and provide accessible, high‑quality family medicine without the red tape of traditional insurance.
