Dr. Megan Moini is a board‑certified internal medicine physician and pediatrician who founded Emerald Direct Primary Care in October 2020. She believes that patients deserve uninterrupted, personalized care and that a membership‑based model allows her to spend the time needed to truly understand each patient’s health goals, concerns, and life context. Dr. Moini emphasizes continuity of care, preventive health, and building long‑term relationships, stating that primary care is the best‑paid job in the world because of the privilege of being invited into patients’ lives.
She grew up in rural Oregon, completed high school and college in Florida, and earned her M.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2012. After completing a dual residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, she practiced at the Cleveland Clinic and spent three years in Colorado before returning to Ohio to launch her DPC practice. Outside of medicine, Dr. Moini enjoys running, hiking, reading fiction, and exploring Cleveland’s restaurants and bars.
