Mary is married and a mother of two boys. She enjoys spending time with family, her dog, traveling and learning new things. Mary is from Whitley City, Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University in 2002 and worked as a registered nurse in emergency medicine for 15 years. She then pursued a Master of Science in Nursing at Indiana State University, graduating in 2015. Mary is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds a Kansas nursing license in good standing. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her clinical interests include emergency medicine, urgent care, preventive health, and public health, and she practices within the Direct Primary Care model at Oasis Family Medicine.
