Mary Anderson

Dr. Mary (Margot) Fontenot Anderson, MD, was born in Columbia, South Carolina, but grew up most of her life in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated from Spring Hill College and subsequently the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She completed her residency at East Jefferson General Hospital and is board certified in Family Medicine. During her residency, Dr. Anderson learned about the concept of direct primary care and knew immediately that this was the way she wanted to practice medicine. She now provides family medicine services through Vieux Care in Covington, LA, emphasizing personalized, relationship‑based care without insurance middlemen.
