Marty Ellis grew up on a family farm just south of Havensville, KS. He began his nursing career in 2011 as a licensed practical nurse in an assisted‑living facility in Topeka and became a Registered Nurse in 2012 after completing an associate degree. After a brief pause to help on his wife’s family farm, he returned to health care and joined a level‑two trauma center emergency department in Topeka in 2016, becoming a Certified Emergency Nurse in 2018 and later serving as charge nurse. He transitioned to a Family Nurse Practitioner role at Holton Direct Care, where he embraces the Direct Primary Care model to provide personalized, affordable, and relationship‑focused care to his patients.
