About

Dr. Marina Capella is board‑certified in both general pediatrics and integrative medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and completed a residency in pediatrics at Harbor‑UCLA Medical Center. After working at a community health center in San Diego and pediatric urgent cares at Intermountain Health, she founded Healing Arts Pediatrics in 2021 as a Direct Primary Care practice. Dr. Capella blends evidence‑based conventional care with holistic modalities such as herbalism, mind‑body therapies, and myofascial release to provide personalized, unhurried care for children and families.

She is originally from California, relocated to Utah in 2018, and serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Capella also sits on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, co‑hosts two podcasts, and is pursuing an executive MBA. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, running, baking, and sewing.
