About
Dr. Margarita Diaz-Ochu, also known as Dr. Margie Diaz-Ochu, is a board‑certified pediatrician who completed her medical degree at the University of Texas and her residency in General Pediatrics at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. After years of practicing within larger health systems, she developed a deep commitment to providing comprehensive, family‑centered care, with special interests in children’s nutrition, newborn health, lactation, and neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome.
In 2022 Dr. Diaz‑Ochu founded Bee Home Pediatrics, a direct‑pay, membership‑based practice that embodies the Direct Primary Care (DPC) philosophy of unlimited access, longer visits, and a personal physician‑patient relationship. Her multidisciplinary, holistic approach emphasizes trust, patience, and compassion, allowing families to receive care from infancy through young adulthood while fostering a supportive environment for physical, mental, and emotional health.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Diaz‑Ochu enjoys gardening, beekeeping, and sharing nutrition education with her community, reflecting her belief that healthy habits begin at home and extend into the broader community.
