Lorimar Ortiz

Dr. Lorimar Ortiz Ortiz is a family physician and lactation consultant based in Puerto Rico. She founded The Way Family Clinic, the first Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Puerto Rico, with the goal of providing affordable, personalized primary care that eliminates insurance middle‑men. The clinic offers same‑day appointments, extended visits, and continuous communication through phone, text, email, and a patient portal, allowing members to receive comprehensive care without the typical wait times of traditional practices.

Dr. Ortiz earned her MD from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine (specific program not identified). She is board‑certified in Family Medicine (DABFM) and holds additional certifications as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Neonatal and Breastfeeding Lactation Specialist (NABBLM‑C).
