About

I am a board‑certified family physician and mother of 10 and 12 year‑old boys. My husband, Ned Hammar, and I met during our family medicine training in Seattle. We moved to Omak, a small town in North Central Washington, where we practiced for five years and raised our boys. In April 2015 we relocated to Port Angeles, WA, and have made this community our home. I view my patients as partners in health, addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, nutritional, and economic factors. I strive to provide unhurried, patient‑centered visits that consider each person’s whole story and avoid judgment based on complexity, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, or politics.

My practice blends Western and functional medicine, emphasizing whole‑person care, reproductive and sexual health, and lifestyle medicine. I am proficient in Spanish and was trained in a bilingual, bicultural clinic in Seattle to serve Spanish‑speaking patients. I also serve the community as former President of the Jefferson‑Clallam Chapter of the Washington Academy of Family Physicians and enjoy exploring the Olympic Peninsula’s trails and rivers with my family.
