LEE GROSS
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Lee S. Gross, MD, is a family medicine physician and a pioneer of the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. He earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. After completing his family medicine residency as the elected chief resident at University Hospitals of Cleveland, he moved to Southwest Florida and founded Epiphany Health in 2009, creating a flat‑fee, subscription‑based practice that eliminates third‑party billing.
Dr. Gross is deeply committed to restoring the doctor‑patient relationship. He believes that affordable, high‑quality primary care is best delivered when physicians are freed from insurance bureaucracy, allowing more time for preventive care, chronic‑disease management, and personalized attention. Through Epiphany Health and his leadership of the Docs 4 Patient Care Foundation, he advocates nationally for market‑based health‑care reforms and educates other physicians on building DPC practices.
