About

Kimberly Hanna, APRN, FNP-C, has been a dedicated nurse since 1996. She earned her BSN from The Medical University of South Carolina in 1996 and completed an MSN with a focus on Nursing Administration at the University of South Carolina, Columbia in 1999. In 2023 she earned a post‑masters certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner and became board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Kim is a breast cancer survivor and has additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which she integrates with Biblical counseling to support patients’ mental and emotional health.

At Freedom Family Care, Kim embraces the Direct Primary Care model by maintaining a small patient panel (650‑700 patients) to provide unrushed, personalized care. She emphasizes rapid communication, same‑day appointments, and a holistic approach that includes home visits, virtual visits, and coordinated care during hospitalizations. Her philosophy centers on medical freedom, empowering families—especially women and children—to take charge of their health while receiving compassionate, accessible primary care.
