Dr. Kashiti Long is a double board‑certified Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is passionate about empowering her patients to achieve optimal health and wellness by preventing and reversing chronic diseases. Employing a collaborative relationship with her patients, Dr. Long practices with a focus on nutrition, exercise and other lifestyle factors as an adjunct to traditional treatment modalities. She understands that achieving great health is more than simply taking medications, but also involves working on healthy behaviors. Dr. Long grew up in St. Petersburg, FL. In 2006 she moved to Washington, DC to attend Howard University, earned a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science, and then attended Morehouse School of Medicine where she obtained her MD in 2014. She completed her residency through the Emory University School of Medicine Internal Medicine primary‑care track, gaining extra training in primary care. After residency she served the underserved at a federally qualified health center in Greenville, SC for almost four years, then worked for a major health system in Charlotte for over three years before founding Long Health & Wellness to provide accessible, personalized Direct Primary Care.
