Justine DeCastro

Dr. Justine DeCastro is a board‑certified family medicine physician who founded Harborside Healthcare and now leads Premier Health & Wellness, offering a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model that emphasizes flat‑fee membership, direct communication, and personalized, preventive care. She believes in building lasting relationships with patients, providing same‑day access via phone, email, and video visits, and focusing on wellness and disease prevention rather than episodic treatment. Her practice combines on‑site and virtual visits to ensure patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care without third‑party insurance interference.

Dr. DeCastro earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology (minor in Chemistry) magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, and received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed a Family Medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, and is board certified in Family Medicine. In addition to clinical work, she serves as President‑Elect of the Charleston County Medical Society, mentors young physicians, and participates in community outreach to improve health outcomes in the Tri‑County area.
