About

Dr. Juan Carlos Venis is the founder and primary care physician of INcircle Health, a Direct Primary Care clinic in downtown Indianapolis. He believes that health care should be relationship‑centered, compassionate, and accessible without the barriers of insurance, copays, or surprise bills. By offering same‑day or next‑day appointments, generous visit times, and direct messaging, he creates a space where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered to take charge of their whole‑person health. His bilingual ability in English and Spanish and his personal connection to the local community help him provide inclusive care for diverse populations.

Dr. Venis earned a B.A. in Biology (cum laude) from Wabash College, his M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine (2014), and an M.P.H. from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (2014). He completed a Family Medicine residency at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN (2017) and pursued additional training through the Midwest AIDS Training and Education Center’s HIV Clinician Scholars Program (2022). Board‑certified in Family Medicine (American Board of Family Medicine) and Obesity Medicine, his clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, HIV prevention and treatment, LGBTQ+ health, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine. He also serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine.
