Dr. Josie Olsen, D.O. began her medical journey in college with a passion for anatomy and biochemistry, later attending medical school in the Pacific Northwest where her osteopathic training emphasized a holistic approach to patient care and Osteopathic Manipulation Techniques. After graduation she commissioned into the U.S. Air Force and completed a Family Practice Residency with a secondary in Pain Management at Eglin Air Force Base in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, rotating through more than 15 clinical specialties and performing a wide range of procedures ranging from ENT scopes to C‑sections.

Her experience in the military and private sector, including providing home visits to assisted‑living residents and developing policies for a multi‑specialty clinic, has shaped her commitment to Direct Primary Care. Dr. Olsen believes that removing administrative burdens allows for longer, more meaningful appointments, enabling her to focus on preventive care, holistic treatment, and building lasting relationships with patients. She is dedicated to staying current with medical literature and leveraging the DPC model to improve outcomes while reducing costs.
