Jose Bacala

Dr. Jose Bacala is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician in Las Vegas, Nevada. He received his bachelor's degree in Health Physics/Comprehensive Medical Imaging at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2006. He worked as an ultrasonographer at multiple hospitals in Las Vegas before attending medical school at the American University of St. Maarten School of Medicine, graduating in 2011. Dr. Bacala completed his Family Medicine residency at Beaumont Health in Michigan in 2015. He practices full-spectrum primary care, with special interests in dermatology procedures, sports medicine, and geriatrics. Dr. Bacala has received multiple awards, including the "Patients' Choice Award" and "Compassionate Doctor Award." He is also a Ring Physician for USA Boxing and works at boxing events in Las Vegas. Dr. Bacala lives with his wife Heather and their three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, hiking, and rooting for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels basketball and Vegas Golden Knights hockey.
