Dr. John Littlefield, MD, FACEP, brings more than 25 years of clinical experience in emergency and family medicine to The River Health and Wellness Center, where he serves as Medical Director. He has practiced in Bristol and Plymouth counties and now leads a Christ‑centered Direct Primary Care practice that emphasizes personalized, relationship‑based care.
At The River, Dr. Littlefield integrates evidence‑based medicine with functional, nutritional, and spiritual approaches, aiming to treat the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. He believes DPC allows him to spend more time with each patient, remove insurance‑driven barriers, and focus on preventive health, wellness, and lasting patient relationships.
