John Jacobsen

Dr. John R. Jacobsen is a Board Certified Family Practice physician and the founder and owner of Click Family Healthcare, with locations in Kearney and Broken Bow, Nebraska. Growing up in Merna, Nebraska, he spent over a decade as an agricultural banker before pursuing medicine, aiming to provide family medicine in rural communities. After completing his residency, he practiced for more than 10 years in Geneva, Nebraska, caring for patients of all ages and performing obstetrical services, endoscopies, minor surgeries, and emergency care. He later served as Chief Medical Officer of a start‑up primary‑care center in Omaha before returning to direct patient care and establishing Click Family Healthcare as a Direct Primary Care practice. Dr. Jacobsen is actively involved in family‑medicine organizations, having served as Past President of the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians and holding leadership roles with the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Nebraska Medical Association.
