Dr. Joan Hannula, M.D. is a board‑certified Family Medicine physician who graduated magna cum laude from Wagner College with a B.S. in Nursing and earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Iowa, serving as Chief Resident in her final year, and has spent her career working in a variety of settings including urgent care, emergency rooms, inpatient and outpatient clinics. Dr. Hannula has been a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians for more than 25 years.
