About
Dr. Jillian Scherer, MD grew up in Streamwood, Illinois and attended the University of St. Francis in Joliet. After earning a B.S. in Biology she received her Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 2009. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Waukesha Family Medicine Residency in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where she trained in comprehensive family practice, obstetrics, inpatient care and urgent care. In 2018 Dr. Scherer opened Whole Family Health Medical Clinic, the first Direct Primary Care practice in Olney, Illinois, to restore the traditional doctor‑patient relationship with longer appointments, no co‑pays, and a focus on preventive and lifestyle medicine. She emphasizes personalized care, home visits when needed, and empowering patients to take control of their health.
