Dr. Jessica Mendelsohn was raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia and pursued undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech. She earned her M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. After completing her residency in Family Medicine in Charlotte, NC, she became board certified in Family Medicine and practiced full‑time in Charlotte until 2014. During that time she served as a medical director, led physician‑leadership initiatives, and was voted one of Charlotte’s "Top Doctors" in 2012. In 2018 she founded New South Family Medicine, a Direct Primary Care practice, and later expanded to include a MedSpa, championing unhurried, personalized, and affordable patient care.
