Dr. Jerome Aya-ay, MD, was raised in Grantsville, WV. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in Biology. After studying for a master's in Biomedical Sciences at Marshall University, he earned his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, WV. Dr. Aya-ay completed his residency in Family Medicine at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he was awarded Family Medicine Resident of the Year in 2007. He is board‑certified in Family Medicine and has a special interest in preventative care and lifestyle medicine. As a co‑founder of Palmetto Proactive Healthcare, he leads a Direct Primary Care practice focused on transparent, affordable, patient‑centered care.
