Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Miami and a medical degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine, Dr. Cardwell left the Sunshine State to complete his residency at Carolinas HealthCare System. He currently lives with his family in Davidson, and enjoys planning events with his wife Phillis, like their 30-year anniversary, and raising his four children: Christopher, Gabriella, Chancellor, and Ava.
