About
Jay Vinnedge, MD, grew up in Oklahoma and after high school joined the Oklahoma Air National Guard, serving as a USAF flight medic and deploying worldwide to care for patients in the back of aircraft. He earned his Bachelor’s degree with highest honors in Biochemistry in 2015 and his MD in 2019, both from the University of Oklahoma. Following residency training in Family Medicine, he worked at a federally funded health center serving uninsured and medically complex patients before co‑founding The Little DPC in downtown Oklahoma City. Dr. Vinnedge’s DPC philosophy centers on giving patients ample time, personalized care plans, and direct access via phone, text, and video, reflecting his belief that traditional primary care often falls short of patient needs.
