Jason Moulton

Dr. Jason Moulton, DO, is a Family Medicine physician and owner of Pulse Direct Care in Gilmer, TX. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a Rural Scholar program in Rural Osteopathic Medical Education at UNTHSC and a Family Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. Dr. Moulton is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and is also a Cranial Sacral Therapist certified by the Upledger Institute. He is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Moulton’s DPC philosophy emphasizes personalized, accessible care for rural families. He sought extra training in rural medicine, procedures, emergency medicine, and osteopathic manipulation to better serve his community. He and his wife, Amanda, along with their ten children, have lived in Gilmer for several years. Outside of medicine, he enjoys farming, welding, paintball, and fishing, and values working alongside his brother, Josiah, to provide a unique healthcare solution to Upshur County and surrounding areas.
