About
Dr. Jaren Blake, MD was born and raised in Provo, Utah. After earning a B.A. in American Studies from Brigham Young University, he served a two‑year LDS mission in Budapest, Hungary, before attending Tulane School of Medicine where he received his M.D. in 2003. He completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno. Following a decade of full‑time clinical teaching, Dr. Blake returned to his hometown to fulfill his dream of running his own clinic, founding Blake Family Medicine as a Direct Primary Care practice.
At Blake Family Medicine, Dr. Blake emphasizes a patient‑centered, no‑insurance model that restores the personal doctor‑patient relationship. He believes health decisions should be made directly between doctor and patient, without the interference of insurance middlemen. By offering transparent pricing, longer appointment times, and comprehensive primary care services under one roof, he strives to provide care that feels like family, focusing on preventive health, individualized treatment plans, and building lasting trust with each patient.
