About
Dr. Ian Strand is a board‑certified emergency physician with special interests in men’s health, hormone optimization, traumatic brain injury, and performance medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, and served as a commissioned officer with a combat deployment to Iraq in 2007. After his military service he attended Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2014, and completed a four‑year residency in Emergency Medicine at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.
Since joining Asymmetric Health, Dr. Strand embraces a Direct Primary Care model that emphasizes personalized, evidence‑based care, in‑depth testing, and a strong doctor‑patient relationship. He integrates functional‑medicine principles with hormone and cellular optimization to help patients improve health‑span and overall wellbeing.
