Growing up in a family that relied on a single family‑medicine doctor, Dr. Schafer was inspired early on to become a physician who cares for whole families from newborns through end‑of‑life. She chose family medicine during medical school and now practices Direct Primary Care at Moxie MD, where she offers un‑rushed visits, same‑day appointments, and direct communication via phone or text to deliver accessible, affordable, and personalized health care.
