Dr. Daniel Madsen, DO, is the Founder and Medical Director of Madsen Medical Direct Care. He was raised in a cold, windy corner of northwest Iowa, where he learned that change and thinking outside the box can lead to the best results. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and graduated with honors from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in the discipline of Family Practice. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Western Reserve Care System in Ohio, where he was honored as Resident of the Year.
At Madsen Medical Direct Care, Dr. Madsen embraces a whole‑person, integrative approach to primary care. The practice combines evidence‑based medicine with hormone replacement therapy, nutrition, physical activity, aesthetic wellness, and spiritual counseling to create personalized wellness plans that improve patients’ quality of life. The Direct Primary Care model allows for 24/7 access, same‑day or next‑day appointments, and extended 45‑minute visits so he can spend ample time listening to each patient’s story and addressing their unique health needs.
