Dr. Daniel Kohl, D.O., is a family physician and functional medicine practitioner who embraces the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. He believes that healthcare should put patients first, offering same‑day or next‑day appointments, unlimited access, and a focus on individualized, holistic care without the constraints of insurance billing. Dr. Kohl’s practice emphasizes building long‑term relationships, spending ample time with each patient, and providing transparent, low‑cost services.

Born and raised in Cedarville, Ohio, Dr. Kohl’s passion for medicine was sparked by medical‑mission trips to Philadelphia, India, Nepal, and Paraguay, where he witnessed diverse health needs. He earned a B.S. in molecular and cellular biology from Cedarville University and completed his osteopathic medical degree at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a family medicine residency at Valley Baptist Medical Center. He now serves families in Edinburg, Texas through his direct primary care clinic.
