Dr. Christy Arthur grew up in Northern Virginia and earned both her undergraduate degree and her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. After medical school she completed a family medicine internship and residency at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA, where she served as chief education resident in her final year. She practiced with Carilion Brambleton from 2004 through 2021, gaining over two decades of experience in comprehensive primary care.

In 2023 Dr. Arthur founded Ultra Primary Care at The Center for Ultra Health, a Direct Primary Care practice dedicated to providing timely, compassionate, and holistic care. Her DPC model emphasizes strong patient‑doctor relationships, easy access via text, email, and phone, and integrated mental‑health support, including life‑coach certified services.
