Dr. Chris Newland, MD, is board certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine. A former USMC infantryman, he brings a background in fitness, nutrition, and wellness to his practice, harmonizing traditional, integrative, and holistic approaches to care. His clinical passions include obesity and lifestyle medicine, mental health, dermatology, and natural medicines.
Dr. Newland earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the North Colorado Family Medicine Residency Program in Greeley and Sterling. Dissatisfied with the constraints of traditional primary care, he founded Dragonfly Direct Primary Care in Loveland, CO, offering patients unlimited access, personalized treatment plans, and even house calls, all grounded in the Direct Primary Care philosophy of time‑rich, patient‑centered care.
