Dr. Bridget Gruender founded Liberty Family Medicine in July 2016 to provide affordable, direct primary care to Columbia and surrounding communities. As the first physician in town to open a Direct Primary Care (DPC) clinic, she created a membership‑based model that eliminates copays and insurance billing, offering patients personalized, relationship‑focused care with same‑day access via phone, text, email, video, or in‑person visits. The clinic also features an in‑house pharmacy, reinforcing her commitment to convenient, comprehensive family medicine.
Dr. Gruender’s dedication to community health has earned her the Missourian Progress Award for health‑care innovation.
