About

Dr. Ashley Finch is a Board‑Certified Family Medicine Physician with expertise in preventive care, chronic disease management, women’s health, and medical weight loss. She uses an osteopathic perspective and is dedicated to treating each patient as a whole individual with specific medical and psychosocial needs. She believes the direct‑care model is superior to traditional models because it allows ample time for a therapeutic relationship and shared management goals. Dr. Finch was born and raised in Beaumont, graduated from West Brook High School, earned a Biology degree from Lamar University, and worked as an emergency‑department scribe before attending medical school. She completed her medical education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth and has been in practice for over five years. In March 2024 she opened Direct Primary Care of Southeast Texas to provide personalized, unlimited‑visit primary care.

Dr. Finch also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, teaching family‑medicine rotations. She has received a Humanitarian Award for her work in street medicine, providing care to underserved populations, and remains active in community health initiatives.
