Alyssa Wislander has been a nurse since 2003 and a nurse practitioner since 2011. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa and completed her Master’s, Post‑Master’s, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is board certified in both pediatrics and acute care, and after becoming an NP she served as a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago for six years, teaching dermatologic procedures at national conferences.
