Alexandra Santiago

I am a board certified family physician with a passion for whole body health and wellness. As a highly competitive athlete and later personal trainer, I experienced the healing power of simply making healthy lifestyle changes. I became a physician to supplement this but never replace it. In the midst of this broken medical system, I have stayed true to this mission of addressing whole body health and lifestyle prior to anything else. I majored in Exercise Physiology at the University of Miami where I was a competitive cheerleader (go Canes!). I went to Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school and completed my residency at Medical City Fort Worth. After graduation, I moved to Frisco to start a family medicine practice with a partner. Although the practice was very successful, it left me unfulfilled and questioning my career as a physician. This traditional model did not allow me to provide the quality of care I or my patients desired. I found the solution in direct primary care. Now my vision to provide good quality and personalized medical care at an affordable price has become a reality. I am a wife and mother to two beautiful children. My husband is a personal trainer and a local real estate agent. Our two toddlers and large bernedoodle provide non‑stop activity and entertainment. I enjoy tennis, yoga, running, a good glass of wine, and a captivating book. Above all, I love spending time with my family.
