Adam Balin

Dr. Adam Balin, MD, is a family medicine physician born in Chicago, IL, and raised in the suburbs before moving to Grand Isle, Nebraska. He earned his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and attended the University of Missouri‑Columbia for medical school, where he also completed his Family Medicine residency and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Balin has practiced full‑spectrum family medicine for over 20 years, providing care that includes obstetrics, inpatient services, nursing‑home visits, and home visits. He has held leadership roles, such as chairing the Family Medicine department at the Dean Clinic in Oregon, WI. Dr. Balin is excited to bring his extensive experience to Advocate MD, practicing in a Direct Primary Care model that allows longer visits and shared decision‑making with patients. He is skilled in procedures like prolotherapy, vasectomy, and advanced skin procedures, and he enjoys fly fishing, traveling, and camping in his spare time.
