About

Dr. Aaron Watters, MD, was born in Colby, Kansas, and began his healthcare career at age 16 working at the local hospital. He became an EMT at 18 and worked in respiratory therapy to fund his college and medical school education. After graduating from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, he completed a family medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa. Over the past 35 years he has served as an emergency‑room physician, director, and hospitalist before opening Liberty MD with his wife Wendy in 2022.

At Liberty MD, Dr. Watters embraces a Direct Primary Care model that eliminates insurance middle‑men and focuses on one‑on‑one, personalized care. He believes the best medical treatment comes from building long‑term relationships with patients, offering same‑day appointments, wholesale‑priced labs and pharmacy, and acting as a coach, mentor, and friend to help patients achieve healthier, happier lives.
